"Outer Dark" is a dark and sad parabolic tale of violent, desires, sins and mysteries. It's a creepy story of people far out of the way of society, able to do what and when they want.
"Outer Dark" is the story of Rinthy and Culla Holmes, siblings residing in an isolated cabin in Johnson County. Rinthy, a nineteen-year-old girl, gives birth to her brother's baby. Culla, scared of the consequences, takes the baby and leaves it in the woods to die, telling his sister the child fell ill and died and that he buried the child. She knows he lied because she quickly discovers an empty grave and decides to find her child. Rinthy knows that she must find a tinker because no one else has passed their home in months and she supposes that her brother has sold the baby.
