     The Fixer is the story of Rick Hoffman, who was a star and top journalist of one of Boston magazine but, as we all know everything is changing. He is losing work, money, flat, meaning of next days. One more time he must find the own way.
      When he is returning to his now-deserted childhood home to renovate and sell this house, around him are starting happening a strange things. He has a feeling being has observed and not being alone at home hiding a lot of secrets. Especially after he is finding hidden money in the attic when he is stumbling on a tented tarp concealing three million dollars. His father, Lenny, who is in a nursing home and suffering from stroke-induced aphasia, can't help his son and tell more about the secret of the hidden money.

   The game just began - who will survive? Will the end be good or bad?  And what big secret are hiding all money from the attic?


Why you should read it

      If you know Joseph Finder and you read any previous book by Mr Finder, you know what kind of book is The Fixer. You have great story, quick action, secrets and the fact that nothing is easy and the end of the book can surprise even if you suspect how it can look.
     The Fixer is a great book with many great moments.

     The dark side of the life, especially of people who you know and who are your family. The dark side of own pride and secrets.

    The Fixer is a great book. Of course it is different than all previous books by Mr Finder but that's why is good. If you like books with good story, this one is for you.
